Artwork Requirements

To ensure the best results for your custom embroidery and DTF printing order, please review the following guidelines before submitting your artwork.

File Formats

  • Preferred: Vector files (.AI, .EPS, .SVG, .PDF)
  • Accepted: High-resolution raster files (.PNG, .TIFF) at 300 DPI or higher
  • Not accepted: Low-resolution JPEGs, Word documents, or screenshots

Embroidery Requirements

  • Minimum recommended size: 1" x 1"
  • Avoid very fine details, thin lines under 1mm, or very small text (under 4pt)
  • Maximum colour count: 9 thread colours
  • Provide a colour breakdown using Pantone (PMS) codes where possible

DTF (Direct-to-Film) Printing Requirements

  • File resolution: 300 DPI minimum at print size
  • Colour mode: RGB
  • Transparent background (.PNG)
  • Full-colour and gradient designs are supported

Screen Print Requirements

  • Preferred: Vector files (.AI, .EPS, .SVG, .PDF) with separated spot colours
  • File resolution: 300 DPI minimum at print size (for raster files)
  • Colour mode: Spot colours (Pantone/PMS preferred); CMYK accepted
  • Each colour must be on a separate layer or provided as a separated file
  • Maximum colour count: typically 6 colours (contact us for more)
  • Avoid gradients, shadows, or photographic images — screen printing works best with solid, defined colours
  • Minimum line thickness: 0.5pt; minimum text size: 6pt

Turnaround Time

  • Standard: 14 business days after artwork approval
  • Rush orders: Contact us for availability and pricing

Artwork Approval Process

  1. Submit your artwork by emailing us directly.
  2. We will review your file and send a digital proof within 1–2 business days.
  3. Approve the proof or request revisions (up to 2 rounds of revisions included).
  4. Production begins once final approval is received.

Additional Fees

  • Non-Print-Ready Artwork Fee: $50.00 — If your submitted artwork requires significant cleanup, redrawing, or digitizing before it can be used, a $50.00 art preparation fee will be applied to your order per design.
  • Embroidery One-Time Setup Fee: $50.00 — A one-time digitizing/setup fee of $50.00 applies to all new embroidery designs. This fee covers the conversion of your artwork into an embroidery file. Once set up, the file is saved for future orders at no additional charge.
  • AI-Generated Artwork Fee: — Artwork created using AI image generators (e.g. Midjourney, DALL·E, Stable Diffusion) is often low resolution or contains artifacts that require significant cleanup before printing or embroidery. AI-generated art may be subject to the Non-Print-Ready Artwork Fee of $50.00 per design. We recommend disclosing if your artwork was AI-generated so we can assess it upfront.
